John Kyriakopoulos - 4ο Dan Aikikai
Born in 1964, with education in Aircraft Airframe and Engine Maintenance Engineer in Bristol, where he worked for several years. He began practicing Aikido in 1988 with instructor Mr G. Koliopoulos (5th Dan Aikikai). He continued in school Aikido of Athens with the instructors Janet Clift (5o Dan Aikikai) and Eiman Devlin (4th Dan Aikikai). Now continuing education with Sihan Urban Andeklint (6th Dan Aikikai) in the system Kobayashi. He began teaching Aikido in 2004, until today, for adults and children. Attended for several years Aikido seminars abroad (Sweden, France, Italy).
John Kyriakopoulos - 4ο Dan
Born in 1964 holder with education in Aircraft Airframe and Engine Maintenance Engineer in Bristol, where he worked for several years. He began practicing Iaido in 2001 with their teacher Sylvia Ordynsky (7th Dan) and Wim Van Mourik (5th Dan). He is a member of the Board of Greek Federation Kento Iaido Naginata and a member of the Technical Committee of Iaido E.O.K.I.N. He teaches and frequently attends Iaido seminars abroad (Poland, Germany).
As Iaido instructor the athletes he trains have excelled the first position in all categories where they participated in all the national championships where Iaido conducted so far. In 2012, an athlet he trainned, won 1st place in the European Iaido tie in France, for the first time for the Greek participation. Also his athletes have brought the first or second positions in competitions if Iaido in abroad. He has been awarded 1st place in the national championship and the 2nd and 3rd place in matches abroad. He referees in Iaido matches local and Panhellenic.
